The 61st West Point Scoutmasters’ Council Invitational Camporee was held at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, on the weekend of April 11th, 2025.
We have arrived!
Our troop was invited as light fighters, which means we backpacked over three miles to the campsite.

And then this happened….
Although the troops at West Point did have to leave early because of a snow emergency, there were still many fun activities we got to participate in. Troop 1920 enjoyed having fun at different stations run by West Point cadets, like camouflage face paint and fire building.
In addition to engaging at stations, we also got to meet and ask the military cadets questions. Among them was even a scout who was from Troop 1920. The snow at West Point makes it a camping trip we will remember for a long time.
