Old Rag at Shenandoah

On April 17-19 troop 1920’s adventure club brought some scouts on a challenging camping trip to Old Rag as a bonus trip this month. We did a 9 mile loop with a 2300 ft elevation gain, with the final mile to the summit being a stretch of vertical boulder scrambles.

The Merit Badge Camping Trip

Troop 1920 did a lot at this camping trip we did two merit badges we all did citizenship in the community and then people could choose between art and camping. we also had an unplanned concert called Saturday night shenanigans with Dustin Baber and others.

Scouting For Food

It took us two days to do all of it together, we place the tags in January to let them know that they can help out and then we picked up the food people left outside their door for us in March. We had a lot of fun and we got to see new places.
