A Historic Weekend at Valled Forge

From December 12 to 14, Troop 1920 camped at Valley Forge for a weekend filled with history, adventure, and teamwork. Although it was chilly and snowy, Troop 1920 didn’t back down from this winter adventure. The scouts set up camp on the same grounds where the Continental Army once endured the harsh winter of 1777, giving them a powerful sense of connection to the past. Over the course of the trip, they explored historic huts, hiked the trails, and learned about the resilience and leadership that shaped this pivotal moment in American history. The historic hike gave the scouts a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the soldiers who once stood there. It was a memorable weekend that left the troop with a greater appreciation for both history and the time spent together.
