Even though Icicle didn’t turn out exactly as planned, Troop 1920 made the most of it! With snow in the forecast and safety as the top priority, the overnight was transformed into a winter day trip and it ended up being a great call.
Scouts spent Saturday, January 24th outdoors embracing the cold weather, having fun at the different stations, and enjoying time together as a troop. Even without the overnight component, everyone stayed active, learned something new, and kept spirits high. The chilly temperatures definitely made us feel like an icicle, but the troop handled it with plenty of layers and the fun moments throughout the day.
This trip was a perfect example of how Troop 1920 adapts, stays safe, and still has fun no matter what the weather brings. A big thank‑you to the adults who adjusted plans so quickly and made sure the day was still memorable.
Stay warm this winter!
