On December 13th, Troop 1920 joined volunteers across the country to participate in Wreaths Across America, a national day of remembrance dedicated to honoring the men and women who served our nation. Our scouts helped lay wreaths on veterans’ graves, taking a moment at each headstone to read the name, reflect on their service, and offer a quiet thank you. Moving through the rows, the scouts showed respect, maturity, and a deep sense of gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who came before them.
This experience reminded our troop that service is more than an action. By honoring each veteran’s grave, Troop 1920 helped ensure that their stories continue to be remembered. As we left the cemetery, the scouts carried with them a deeper appreciation for the veterans who sacrificed themselves for our country. This day was a powerful reminder of what it truly means to honor those who served and to carry their legacy forward.
